How we defined the foundation for a healthy, positive work climate.

The Challenge
Every organization wants to reduce unwanted behavior. But rather than focusing solely on what not to do, NWO chose a different path. The goal was to find the organization’s "Gold": the existing, intrinsic behaviors that already help colleagues interact well with one another. By identifying and amplifying these positives, we aim to reduce the impact of unwanted behavior naturally.
The Approach
Through a series of interviews and focus groups, employees were asked to articulate what they value most about their daily interactions. We weren't looking for aspirational values, but for real, tangible habits that already exist.
The Discovery: Six Pillars of Our Foundation
The research revealed that employees could clearly name what makes working at NWO pleasant. Clustering these insights revealed six distinct pillars that act as the "piles" for our foundation of a healthy work culture.
