Louis De Jaeger (Greenpreneur) on battling helplessness and doing the impossible
Louis De Jaeger traveled around the world for 5 years and saw that we are destroying it. At the same time, he discovered that people feel helpless about this. So, what did he do? He co-founded a train company called Moonlight Express, bringing night trains back to Europe with routes from Belgium to Germany.
But he does way more. He spent years researching sustainable farming, visiting projects from New York to Morocco, and wrote a book about the future of agriculture. With a simple and clear message, he shows how we, as citizens, can play a role in saving our planet with every bite we take.
He is an international keynote speaker, designs permaculture and food forest farms, and is the co-founder of ByeByeGrass and the Food Forest Institute. His ambition is to transform 15% of European agriculture into food forests.
