Lottie Walker

My name is Lottie Walker. I am a writer from Somerset, England with a BA in Literary and Cultural Analysis from the University of Amsterdam. I currently reside in the UK where I am pursuing my Mst in Creative Writing at the University of Cambridge. I am president of the Cambridge University Poetry and Prose society which facilitates workshops and speaker events for students. I am the recent recipient of The White Pube writers grant funded by Creative Debuts; “Lottie’s poems had a sharpness, this citrus kick that felt like salt on a wound. They stung us and in the same, offered a full complexity that we could chew on”. I perform my work and organise poetry evenings at a variety of venues across Amsterdam, London, and Cambridge. I am the host of the unique poetry podcast Beetroot, which aims to broaden literary discussion through live and virtual events.
