Tom van der Lubbe is a visionary, sustainable entrepreneur, speaker, and writer. He co-founded Viisi Mortgages, the first financial organization in the world to implement Holacracy: an horizontal, self-governing and self-managing organization. The "why" is the motivational engine that gives fulfilment in what we do. Today we get to talk to him about his most interesting vision on the future of work and organizations.
In this episode, Tom explains:
- why he thinks decentralized decision making is way more productive than micromanagement
- why psychological safety is the key to high performing teams
- why big bonuses are unnatural to us as humans, and are counterproductive
