David Posluszny, Head of Learning and Development North America at Vanderlande
I have been participating in Hatch’s “Muscle Up Your Courage” program for the past several months, which was tailored to my company to focus on our sustainability initiatives. In addition to being a participant in the program, as the head of learning and development for my organization I have also been indirectly evaluating the program from the perspective of a learning professional.
In my opinion, this program has an innovative and creative design, which allows for participants to engage at their own pace and to get as much from the program as they are willing to put into it.
The quality of the facilitators, presenters and materials in the program is high, as is the level of support provided by Hatch. There are a lot of fun and engaging elements throughout the program to keep motivation high. I find the design of this particular program to have the potential of being applied to many different areas, similar to what we have done in our organization for sustainability.
From a results perspective, I found myself having conversations with business partners advocating for areas in which I have no direct experience or accountability, but rather a passion and desire to be a change agent with my company for sustainability initiatives which I now see myself as.

- Scores from participants based on how the programme helped them meet both their and our objectives
- A run-through of all elements of the programme, asking for more specific feedback when the element was not up to par
- The steps we have already taken to strengthen the programme to create Muscle Up Your Courage 2.0
