Although we all see the necessity of keeping a safe physical distance, it is the emotional distance that seems to grow. The effects on our well-being are increasingly visible. People get lonely, teams are less cohesive. And both our private life and our work suffer.
To get out of this downward spiral, we need to reframe our thinking…and our actions will follow. Many of us seem to accept our isolated state as fact. But think about it: what’s stopping you from doing something about it?
