Derek brings experience in leadership and talent development at international and multicultural organizations. His mission is to stop people leaving companies because of awful employee experiences and leadership.
Speaker Joris van Heukelom - Organizational Therapist
After a solid corporate career in the music industry, telecom and digital media, Joris chose the path of entrepreneurship in 2011. This led to developing MakerStreet. An Amsterdam based agency network covering a dozen of complementary skills, 19 agencies, 35 entrepreneurs and over 400 employees.
Joris's higher goal is to make humans smarter in order to give them more counterweight towards the rise of the technocrats. He is convinced that technology can save humanity but also destroy it and he is motivated to make humans smarter which is the only path towards the utopian scenario. Joris holds a master degree in Political and Social science and a master degree in marketing science. Furthermore, he is autodidact in the field of transformative psychology (certified) where he applies his knowledge helping individuals and organizations to transform.

Martijn Boomsma's 28 years of entrepreneurship has taken him down many paths. From game development and the tech industry to publishing. Martijn's passion for experimentation has led him directly to founding Hatch. We are living through one of the greatest periods of change humanity has experienced, causing strain on our innate human capabilities. Are computers rotting our brains, or will the opportunities of AI and automation elevate our development? Martijn's belief in creativity, social intelligence, and the power of collaboration led him and a group of like minded individuals to start Hatch. A company with the goal to facilitate the development and training of these human capabilities.
